God Fearing, Country Loving, Middle-Earth, Down-Home, Patriotic AMERICANS!!!
God Bless Glenn for his efforts to bring this country together and back to God.
I pray it only grows stronger and like a tidal wave, erasing evil upon this earth.
I may be ‘good’, but I ain’t happy.
Politeness is like our “trademark”. Trashing has been done to death. It is THEIR trademark, and frankly, it’s “trashy”.
I think Sarah Palin struck the right note when, in her brief, non-political speech, she intoned: "Look around you. You are not alone!" That, the overall tone of the rally and the huge turnout all combine to act as an encouragement and motivation for the 'average' American to do whatever they can to oppose the left in this country and the road to mediocrity they are attempting to take our great nation.
I fully expect another huge turnout by Americans - on election day, November 2nd - and with it, a sweeping out of the career politicians on both the left and right. Oh, we'll never get rid of all of them. There will always be a few leftists and RINOs around (John McCain, Scott Brown, Lindsey Graham, et al.) but if the voters can elect enough conservatives and instill the fear of an aroused populace into our 'representatives' that will thwart liberal schemes and the usual congressional shenanigans, we may have a real chance to actually begin to restore honor to our government - but the people must lead the way. I trust that they will.
Wow, I was wrong when we were predicting on an earlier thread that the media would fail to mention how neat the grounds were left.
The attendee writing about the incident was talking about how, when the event was over, EVERYONE started picking up their trash. The witness noted other attendees who had BROUGHT THEIR OWN trash bags to do so, and he noted several who were handing out extra trash bags to folks who had either forgotten, or didn't have enough.
With this level of attention to detail by the "run of the mill" Tea Party member, the Democrats should be VERY afraid.
These are NOT stupid people, folks.
I liked Beck when he was leading a political movement. Now that he’s trying to launch an ecumenical religious revival in his attempt to mainstream Mormonism, he has lost me. This thing is false hope... and a false revival. It will NOT end well.
Savage opened his show Monday with an enthusiastic recap of the impressive weekend rally in Washington. He gave due credit to Glenn Beck by name, marveled over the attendance of “a million”, and crabbed about the press’ failure to report and the President’s failure to acknowledge.
He waited until the second hour to remind us that when he was banned in Britain, he stood alone, with no support from Glenn Beck. He returned, though, to raving about the Restoring Honor event, with more praise for Beck’s ability to make it all happen. Michael at his finest.
What’s with Hannity? No mention that I’ve heard.
