The two were allowed to board the flight at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago on Sunday night despite security concerns surrounding one of them, officials told ABC News, which identified the men as Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al Soofi, of Detroit, MI, and Hezam al Murisi.
Our airport security seems to suck--big time.
Yep, put grandma up against the wall for a pat down then take a picture of her undies ... but let these two jerks on, even tho “suspicion surrounded one of them.” Any wonder TSA is considered a bunch of buffoons?
Except for a trip to Beaufort SC last May for an educators workshop at Parris Island, I've not flown since the Sept 11th attacks. However, with our daughter having just moved to New York City for an upscale fashion job (Think The Devil Wears Prada except at the actual fashion designer instead of a magazine), so we're destined to go and visit several times a year. It's going to be beyond weird. The Flight and the having to walk around unarmed all the time. I have always lived in an area where I could have a concealed weapons permit and I have always enjoyed reciprocity with neighboring states. One reason I have not crossed the Mason-Dixon Line on vacation. Now, I gotta. ~sigh~
Useless TSA agents were too busy frisking nuns and senior citizens .
Airport Security is an inner city jobs program. It has nothing to do with security.
Take a good look at the people next time, and ask your self if you would hire them to do ... anything.
“Our airport security seems to suck—big time.”
And I thought random searches of 88yo white grandmas and 9yo Korean-American kids had helped greatly.
