CEO is not in Obama’s DNA
Herman Cain's Weekly Commentary ^ | August 29, 2010 | Herman Cain

Posted on 08/30/2010 7:43:55 AM PDT by justsaynomore

While House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) urged President Obama last Tuesday to fire his economic team, a real CEO would have made that move months ago. A real CEO would have also developed and implemented a new strategy to stimulate the economy as soon as it became apparent that the old one was not working.

Even worse, the administration is in denial about the fact that its economic policies are not working. This is evidenced by Vice President Joe Biden’s spin tour trying to convince people that their policies are working using concocted measurements such as “jobs saved”, and the latest addition to their spin vocabulary – “lives touched”.

I am one of many writers who warned that we could not spend our way to prosperity, but the administration and the Democrat-controlled Congress passed the $862 billion non-stimulus bill anyway. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called on members of Congress back during the August congressional recess to spend another $26 billion to help save some more union jobs.

President Obama is now floating the idea of spending another $30 billion to stimulate community bank lending to small businesses. Add this idea to the growing list of poorly executed and ineffective pop-tart programs such as cash for clunkers, cash for caulkers, cash for air (air conditioning system upgrade), and the Home Affordable Modification Program, and it’s no wonder the administration is making up new words to avoid talking about their failed programs and policies.

Even though a majority of the voters did not want the health care legislation to pass, the president forced it through anyway. And instead of people liking it more and more as we find out what’s in the bill, Nancy, more and more people are disliking the bill. Even though the job-killing Cap and Trade legislation was not read by anyone voting for it, the House passed it anyway.

Thankfully, because of a huge outcry from the voters to their senators, the Cap and Trade legislation is in full retreat in the Senate. It’s never dead with the current leadership in Washington, so we will take retreat for now.

Starting with President Obama’s unmanageable management structure, with dozens of czars plus traditional Cabinet secretaries, and now a parade of failed programs and policies, he is either too out of touch with reality, has no idea of which changes need to be made or truly believes in the incompetent people he has surrounded himself with. Or maybe the president can blame it all on an equally incompetent Democrat-controlled Congress.

Unfortunately, it’s all of the above.

We have a president incapable of making the right management moves, developing a new workable economic strategy, or worse yet, not even knowing that these changes are necessary. It’s not in his DNA.

So if the president is not listening to the voters, he is certainly not going to listen to the Minority Leader.

That makes November that much more critical. We will remember.

Obama is not an alpha male. He’s not a leader. And he knows it.

The use of such strong language against those he feels will not strike back (conservatives, mostly) and his weak approach to those he feel would strike back (muslims, professional “hate” groups) are proof of it.

Or of course that he is doing this all by design (Cloward-Piven).

Herman is right on-target, and knows from whence he speaks.
Obama’s personality is thoroughly unsuited to his present job.
He should have stayed in the ivory tower for a career in tenured academia. It is doubtful he could survive in too many other fields.

Dear Herman Cain,

Will you and other political pundits NEVER awaken from your pathetic, self-imposed “he only wants the best for us” slumber and realize that Hussein is doing PRECISELY what he intends??!! He is NOT failing. Rather he and his “economic team” are deliberately destroying the nation’s economy, deliberately creating and maintaining high unemployment numbers all in the pursuit of creating mass dependence upon Big Brother??!! Profitable businesses and the gainfully employed make for LOUSY democrat voters and even worse converts to a Marxist system of government. People with homes they can afford do not willingly cede their liberty to DC thugs. Therefore want, need and ultimately despair MUST be perpetuated throughout the country. When will people wake up and realize just exactly what the MSM placed in the White House?

This seems so unfair. How could anyone expect someone to behave like a CEO if they had ZERO experience doing so? It would be doubly hard for someone with ZERO experience in a profit-making enterprise. Thus, really, when you think about it, until Obama’s had at least 4 years of on-the-job training in his current position, it simply wouldn’t be fair to judge his CEO capabilities.

Moreover, who can really say? Obama’s predominant position is “Yes, things are bad, but without my policies, they would have been way worse.” That’s his position on the stimulus and with the oil spill. He knows that unlike 2+2=4, one cannot definitively prove what’s true. So even though the overwhelming weight of the evidence is against him, he can count on the Kool-Aid drinkers to buy this claim.

I can’t wait to see Obama’s 2012 campaign slogan:
“I’m Trained Now: Give me 4 More Years”
or
“NOW I know what I’m doing: Please give me another chance.” or
“Any Other Rookie Woulda Done Much Worse.”
or
“Get a Two-fer: Vote for The Rookie and his Wookie.”

On his nightly show Herman has alluded several times that this is all “on purpose”. He is well aware of the overload-crash-the-system dem strategy of the dems.

He is careful not to state that in print - which may be a strategic move. He says many things on his show that he does not write in his commentary - maybe he is trying to reach as many people as he can through the back door before laying himself wide open to national Alinskyizing. Just a guess anyway.

Best short explanation of 0bama’s plans I’ve seen. You are absolutely correct. It is just so hard for most people to believe that there are ‘Americans’ who WANT our system to fail. 0bama laid it all out in the campaign, but one had to have some base knowledge of how Marxists twist the language to fully grasp what he was saying. Sadly, folks under 35 have no understanding of the Cold War or the rhetoric of the old USSR.

Are you sure he even gets the 2+2=4 concept? Leftists do some strange things with Math too. :)

LOL!

Also from www.hermanatorpac.com email:

In just over 60 days, people from all over America will be heading to the polls. They will have a clear choice to either continue operating under the failed leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, or they will have the opportunity to stand up and Take Back Our Government. I know what I’m going to do!

However, there is a lot to be done between now and Election Day and Herman Cain needs your help!

In the next week, Herman will be rolling out his “Cain’s Conservatives.” The “Cain Conservatives” are qualified candidates who are running in 40 challenger and open seat Congressional races. If those seats are won by fiscally responsible candidates, we will have taken a huge step to Take Back Our Government.

How can you help?
1.) Make a $40 contribution to help us “Elect Net 40” in 2010.

2.) Become a “Cain Crusader.” A “Cain Crusader” is an individual who will make a $40 contribution and then agree to recruit 10 additional people to contribute $40.

Last but not least, as Herman continues to travel across America promoting the values we share, we need your help to recruit your family and friends to turn out at these events. Posting event links on Facebook and Twitter and forwarding event invitations to your email contacts will help us greatly.

Here are Herman’s upcoming events:
1.) Herman will be appearing with Dick Morris at the Sheboygan Wisconsin Liberty Coalition Tea Party on September 4th.

2.) Herman will be headlining the North Michigan Alliance Tea Party on Sunday September 5th in Mackinaw Michigan.

3.) One of Herman’s friends is hosting a Meet-N-Greet in Des Moines Iowa on September 9th.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. Together we can Take Back Our Government!
