The Church has responded with love, compassion, forgiveness, and kindness. I am very proud to be a member of this Church which has Jesus Christ at the Head.

When a tragedy like this occurs, like the shooting @ the church in Texas, or the shooting @ the church in Colorado, what church doesn't rally around the victims with love, compassion, forgiveness and kindness?

What is unique is for one of these church bodies to actually take pride in rallying around the victims -- as if that wasn't something other than normal love & servanthood.

(Jesus, Luke 17:10) vs. somebody boasting in their good works on behalf of victims -- boasting with words, I am very proud...

Good points. It does seem that lds do a lot of prideful boasting about all they do rather than quietly going about doing the good work. They make sure as many people as possible know what they do.

None that I know of. In fact, I’m sure that the other Churches are rallying around the Bishop’s family, too, and I thank God for it.
