True, we do have a right to worship as we see fit, but, as Elsie has so convincingly pointed out, part of that expression of worship for Christians is the inescapable duty to publically refute doctrinal error as defined by Scripture. I agree with you that the Marxists wish to foster division, and may see some advantage in our religious controversies, but that does not remove our duty to truth.
Furthermore, I should think the Marxists wished we were arguing over football teams instead of such heady things as the nature and authority of God and His righteousness. What a people argue about is who they really are. And a God-fearing people, even when arguing among themselves, is inherently more difficult to enslave than a nation of football drones. (nothing against football, just sayin ...)

This is a forum where we deal with POLITICAL and cultural issues. We are not a forum dedicated to doctrinal differences. There are other forums for that. We need to stay focused on the goal of defeating communism in all of its forms. All Christians, of whatever doctrinal path are and should be up in arms about what is going on in this country. So if joining arms with fellow believers in freedom and who might happen to view G-d a bit differently offends, you are probably on the wrong forum. Besides, nobody is going to convert anyone here on Free Republic. Let us unite in opposition to satan as manifested my communism and get back to the battle...
