He is friends with Penn Jillette, self-described atheist and one who will kid Glenn from time to time with reference to "an invisible magic sky-god" over Beck's beliefs. It was in no way a mock of God by Glenn and should not be looked at as one whatever.

I guess that fundamentally it is all partly about personal interest. That is natural in a market/profit driven world.

Whatever I had planned for this morning fell by the wayside. This was great tv viewing. It does give me hope we can defeat the evil ones leading the country. Anyway, I just heard Andrew Young give a short interview on CNN. They were trying to get a feed from Sharpton’s location so the anchor went to Young. He actually said he wished there had been a way to combine the two events. Noted it wasn’t political and praised our troops.The anchorette tried to draw him into the argument that this was taking away from MLK and was the family upset that Beck used a portion of the speech for his videos. Young didn’t go along with any of her negatives.
She mentioned that he was in the same Hanoi Hilton as one of the soldiers who were honored. Nothing more.
Again, another reference, this one to Samuel Adams who Glenn has reminded us said, "I'm no bigot, I'll pray with anyone."
