No, this is outrageous and very, very serious. I’d agree with you, but 0bama is not some harmless loon as many here sometimes like to think. Bit by bit, he is going to drag the United States into the World Gov’t System.
Precedents are important. The mere fact that the US has just once looked to the UN to resolve an internal issue means that the UN can justify future involvement. It's a small step, but the first steps are the most important.

I cannot believe that he thinks that this will help his popularity with the American people. I mean the people who would applaud this are already giving him a figurative Lewinsky.
