Several Illinois constituents tried to get Rep. Phil Hare to answer their questions about the constitutionality of the democrat's nationalized health care plan at a meeting in Springfield, IL on Saturday August 21, 2010. Hare told them their questions were "silly stuff."

Thanks!
I like the suits trying to block him about halfway through.
Thanks RatsDawg. In that case, he should have no problem with opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque.
Excuse me, Mr. Cameraman: What part of “Freedom of speech is a one way street” don’t you understand? You should know better than to question your congressman if he’s a Democrat. Now, just run along.
Phil Hare is to silly to be in Congress.
Impeach him — or fire him thru NOT reelecting him.
Someone needs to ram a copy of one up Hare’s arse.... =.=
ARGH! Not you little people again!
Look just pay your taxes (which we’ll be raising) and have a nice day!
If you don’t like find a sharia run hell hole and rot..
The Congressman is a brain, a harebrain!
‘Fill Hair’ has been the same extreme lib as his predecessor, Lane Evans, who stepped down because of Parkinsons. He’s alot like Tommy Harkin, only not as loud and arrogant.
‘Hairball’ (he is kinda short and round) has the heavily union district backing him, along with many farmers, who with addictions to the crop/ethanol/conservation reserve programs, supports the rats without fail every election.
Yeah, so I have noticed, I am originally from Phil Hares district, he was actually born in my hometown of Galesburg Illinois. I was in town a few weeks ago and saw a bunch of his signs up around town, I was thinking, “Idiots”.
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
Galesburg? You mean ‘Little Detroit’. It’s another example of unions going to far, and even ignoring the fact that other countries were becoming industrialized, and competing for the world market. Maytag/Admiral, Butler, Outboard Marine, Iowa Mallable, all gone. Gates Rubber’s running about 25% of it’s peak.
But keep Hare in! You are correct,...idiots.
Can we shoot him for treason?
What he said is treason, and since the nation is at war, then execution by a firing squad would be indicated if convicted by judge and jury.

Well, since the majority of those in the Federal Government actually agree with him (though I’m not sure they are on tape or in print saying so) I’m not sure we could prosecute...
What “mechanism” would we use to try them? The Federal Courts are literally in their back pockets, as the Executive branch appointed and the Legislative branch generally approved the Justices that sit on the Federal Bench...?
Who would carry out such a sentence? The military? Against those who authorize their paychecks (nevermind that we are the ones that actually pay the bills, or service their debts)?
Not to mention the fact that, seriously suggesting such a thing could be considered as, at the very least in poor taste, and by some government goof balls in Washington in the current atmosphere as an actual threat against the lives of elected officials. (NOTE: I have made nor do I entertain seriously ANY such idea — just for the record).
It is an interesting HYPOTHETICAL question though....
Woodrow Wilson was saying this before Communism picked it up. It’s an old progressive mantra.
One thing we can say for our elected political representatives is that they don’t let the Constitution get in their way.
