Sooner or later, it will happen. More and more people are getting CCW. I’m partial to the 92SF due to my military background; wife unit really likes the H&K .40. I’m starting to wonder if CCW might be counter-productive, though; lots to be said in favor of open carry which we have pretty much everywhere here, at least for now.

I have noticed that some military and ex-military enter rooms totally different than regular civilians. And people subconsciously see that.

Iowa is a restricted “May issue” state which means 99% of applicants are turned down and very few people have the ability to EXERCISE their RIGHT to defend themselves and not go to jail afterward. The Amish youth know this and can act with impunity. Why would 40 punks be afraid to attack one person they almost KNOW to be unarmed. They aren’t.
