Ok, I’ll be one of the folks you distain. I don’t believe Christian Churches should be involved in book burning of any kind, as it puts them in a position to be compared to the other folks who’ve burned books throughout history...like Nazis and Muslims...and also reflects too much on some of the things we Christians aren’t to proud of in Christian history.

So do they have the right to burn the Koran? Yes

Does it legitimately make them look bad? Also yes

So I would prefer that Christian churches don’t burn books. Flame away.

I concur with this.

Moreover, it makes the jobs of those Christian missionaries who witness to Muslims more difficult. They are already a difficult culture to witness to. Why should we willingly make it more difficult for them to do their work?
