I have known John on this forum for years and immensely enjoyed my many conversations with him over the time. He was a great American whom the Lord has now called home to His bosom.
He will be sorely missed as a freind, and as a patriotic American in the fight we are engaged in. I cannot say why the Lord took Him home as He did, or for that matter, why, to date, I have been suffered to remain through a similar set of circumstances (cancer, surgery, rehab, etc.). I only know it is God's will...of this I am sure and have no doubt, and therefore, as hard as it may be, we move forward.
It is what John would want, and what we must do if we are to retain our freedom and liberty and way of life, which John worked so hard to retain, for the rising generations, our own children and their children before us.
God bless you John, you will be sorely missed. I look forward to meeting you one day on high and thanking you for all you have done, and for your friendship here on these boards.
Jeff, when I posted this thread & sent out the initial ping, YOU were the first one I thought of..
God’s sieve of life.
We don’t ever know do we? When you were going though your initial ordeal, you truly did not know if you would survive... many people posted to encourage you along the way.
It is interesting that some of those encouragers will possibly be meeting our maker before you.
God’s timing and will are perfect even if we don’t agree or understand quite often.
I also thought of Ray Malone/Common Tator, another keen mind & patriot who had a long ordeal with cancer, was a survivor for a decade & then fought those last few years or re-occurrence with spirit & determination.
Then there is Tony Snow and his story.
God bless you friend. I know you are grateful for the time God has given you. You have been chosen to have extra time for a reason, possibly something new, which I am guessing to be the case. Now it is your job to be open to the vast options
Amen Jeff, Amen.
R.I.P.... in the heavenly sidebar...
Oh Jeff, such sad news. he will certainly be
missed.
tet.
Jeff, we’ll all miss Billybob, he was a font of knowledge here on FR. I am heartened to hear you are doing better, my prayers are for his family, that they find comfort, and for you, that the Lord lets you hang around with us here a while longer.
Jeff, —I haven’t posted on your threads, but follow them very closely -— and you have been in my nightly prayers since the beginning of your ordeal. I am in awe of what you have gone thru, and how you are coming along. You and Gail have strength I can’t even imagine.
I also, as with DollyCali, thought of you when this sad news broke. So sudden — especially after BillyBob’s positive thread. It gives meaning to the phrase that begins — “Ours is not to reason why -——”
But, I too, along with you, want to thank Dolly for her active work on these threads. She is remarkable! Always there when she is needed, and saying just the right things.
Thanks, Dolly!
Jeff, words can’t assuage the pain of losing a friend, especially one who has fought in the trenches with you. You are in my prayers with the news of BillyBob’s passing, as you have been in my prayers over the recent months.
Amen, Jeff. You hang in there FRiend. I do think about you often and keep up with your progress. We’re all still here for a reason. Just hope that reason doesn’t pass us by!
