Interesting. I went through a bout of massive acid reflux — and, by chance, discovered the candy Good & Plenty, which is licorace.
Soothed my stomach better than anti-acids.

My sister-in-law has had similar luck with ginger tea and ginger candy. Soothes her stomach every time!

Is Good & Plenty made with real licorice? Most “licorice” candies are flavored with anise seed extract. Which may be medicinal in its own right.
