If you run a blog, or a mail list, take the time to offer some commentary to get people to THINK about the Mosque as an act of TREASON!

There are already laws that fall under “the intentional infliction of emotional distress”. I haven’t heard anyone discuss that particular angle. Clearly putting a mosque in such a controversial location would qualify.

Sure, from a legal perspective that would probably apply. However I am talking about a political perspective. People are uncomfortable with this because it smacks too much of giving “aid and comfort” to America’s enemies.

I wonder if hussein supports Japanese building a Shinto shrine atop the USS Arizona? Just wondering.

Yes, however the people who want this mosque built, be they muslims, or their enablers right here don’t really care about qualitative arguments or the clever parsing of labels. The only thing they understand is the long arm of the law, or force if it comes to that.

The United States is the country that needs a “Reset Button”, not Russia. We need to pull back and demand that this country start doing what is right for the country. If they, Congress and the President don’t do this, arrest them all and reform our government to what the people want. At this point, I wouldn’t mind the military taking over our government. I trust them more than the President. I totally believe he is out to destroy this country. I just wish a politician would come out and admit it for once.

I do agree however with your contention that the left have had virtual carte blanche redefining the language to their great advantage over the last decades, but I also think that is tit-for-tat, and an agressive legal challenge as a first resort needs to be used, instead of trying to play the game the lefties have down to an art form.

BELIEVE me when I say that to expect the legal system to do ANYTHING that will help America is crazy.

You are talking about INSANE LAWYERS with Black Robes doing the right thing? What about the INSANE LAWYERS in Congress? Or the looney Lawyer in the Whitehouse?

Lawyers, especially lawyers in black robes have caused most of America’s problems.

This needs to be sent to Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Savage Nation Broadcast, Neil Boortz, Bill O'Reilly and "FOX and Friends" as well as to the Opinion Page of every major newspaper in America and every e-mail address in America.

You’ll get no argument from me about the incredible amount of damage to this country that can be laid at the feet of the legal system, but once you throw that out, you might as well advocate burning it to the ground once it’s built. In a strange way, what comes around will go around. When we become a sharia country, all the the ugly liberal women will have to wear a bag with an eye-slit, and their husbands will be executed for smelling like cerveza. God works in wondrous ways as they say.

There is also another element that hasn’t been discussed much, and that is the basic consideration whether the current manifestation of islam is truly a religion, or something more sinister like an ideology of conquest incompatable with western democracies, and therefore not subject to constitutional protections. During world war II, nazism and shinto were clearly recognized as dangerous ideologies, and were aggressively stamped out in their respective countries. Islam has openly declared war on the US and her allies, yet the powers that be just think it’s another harmless belief like pentecostals or crazy fundamental latter day saints, who may act strange but for the most part keep to themselves. We uneducated rubes in flyover country know that’s not true.

I’m not sure about that. I used to think like you, that America needed judges. Then I had a rude awakening about these lawyers with black robes.

1. We have black robed lawyer provided abortion on demand.
2. We have black robed lawyer provided siezure of private property through the Kelo decision expanding eminent domain to private business.
3. We have black robed lawyer provided flag burning and crucifixes in urine as “free speech” but professing faith in any form of Christianity is considered a “crime” in states like Pennsylvania during “gay” pride parades.
4. We have black robed lawyer provided Freedom OF Religion converted into Freedom FROM Religion.
5. We are dealing with the Ninth Circus Black Robed Lawyers who are considering whether they should redefine marriage.
6. We have black robed lawyer defined “absolute immunity” which means NO ONE can ever sue them or hold them accountable for even ILLEGAL activities that they do in their job UNLESS there is enough of a public outcry.
7. We have black robed lawyer extended “absolute immunity” to the other branches of government (Congress and President) so that the other branches of government will never challenge their self imposed supremacy.
8. We have black robed lawyer defined “free speech” as pornography, foul language, etc., but you dare not show any form of Christianity anywhere but your “personal space.”
9. Etc., etc. etc.

I’m not so sure that the black robed lawyers are doing America any good. I just wonder if America wouldn’t be better off eliminating lawyers and just having NORMAL PEOPLE with common sense deal with controversies.

Yer darn tootin!

It’s treason all right, and the moslems (by intent) are engaged in an act of war just putting it there.

Financed entirely by Saudi Arabia.

Every other place of worship in the United States is built with local funds by the local users of the church, synagogue or temple.

I know of no other "religion" that uses or proposes buildings financed by foreign powers, hostile or not.

Shouldn't the promoters of this building register as foreign agents?

Isn't there a federal law requiring this?

I would not put anything past a man who BOWED to the Emperor of Japan.

A big fan of spam, are you? Are you soliciting a botnet? Or perhaps just a wee bit over-excited?

I understand your enthusiasm, but really, back away from the keyboard, and take a deep breath, it'll be okay in a few minutes... :)
