LA Times:

August 16, 2010 | 3:58 pm
The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday agreed to keep same-sex marriages on hold until at least December.

In a brief order, a three-judge panel agreed to an expedited review of U.S. District Judge Vaughn R. Walker’s Aug. 4 ruling that overturned Proposition 8 as a violation of the federal Constitution.

The panel agreed to hold a hearing on the case during the week of Dec. 6 and ordered both sides to present arguments on whether the campaign for Proposition 8 has legal authority to appeal Walker’s order.

Walker had declared Proposition 8’s ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional, saying it violates gay men’s and lesbians’ rights to equal protection and due process.

Not to mention the corrupt homo San Fransicko judge who didn't even have the shame or common decency to recuse himself from the case in the first place.

‘The panel agreed to hold a hearing on the case during the week of Dec. 6 and ordered both sides to present arguments on whether the campaign for Proposition 8 has legal authority to appeal Walker’s order.”

So whats the likely hood of them deciding this group has standing? Seems no one else does.

The Supreme Court will not rule in favor. Kennedy would never agree to the phony wide sweeping reasoning of Judge Walker. We want this to go to the Supreme court especially now. If he does rule arbitrarily to dismiss prop 8 then it will be a firestorm. I still don’t see Kennedy doing it but either way it is good for us provided the GOP doesn’t go soft. Better to raise the stakes before nutty liberals have totally warped the culture then to wait till we are playing catch up.

We still want to win at the 9th circuit level.

Who presented the case in court for the pro-side? Was it the state?

Every one knows that the Second Circus will allow gay marriage. All the judges are left wing whack jobs and they are in the heart of the beast Berkeley/San Francisco/Marin County. As beauty as that area is, the leftists trash it in their own ways.

Probably hoping for Christmas day gay marriages, you know how they hate Christ!

It`s all up to one man to decide the outcome it seems, Anthony Kennedy will decide it all 5/4 one way or the other

They had a referendum and then because they did not like the outcome...you get the picture
