The left wants it. That’s why Bloomberg is gushing about the mosque. (I know he’s theoretically a Republican, but he’s the most left-wing nanny-state GOPer around, and in any case he only changed from Dem to GOP because he knew that no Dem could win that year.)
I actually do think this will boost Obama’s standing with the left.
I looked at DU and I guess you are right ....I think he needs to energize his base.....I would think over all this will really hurt him though
