I don't understand your point, don't you want the conservative vote?

If you want the conservative vote then you better put up a conservative, not a liberal that only embraces our economics.

How do you guys expect to replace the conservative majority of the Republican party in time to win the 2012 election, where are all those new people going to come from?

Wouldn't it be easier for you guys to work from within the democrat party instead, and while embracing the rest of their agenda, try to change their economics to a more conservative view?

Of course I vote conservative... Maybe you are missing the point. Voting seems NOT to matter much these days. Yes, we can change things on the peripheral, but for the most part, it keeps on going the same way... We had that chance in the 80’s and it was shown that once in office, they all become selfish and somewhat liberal.

My point is that with the problems today, we should worry more about where the country is going and if it survives. With our outstanding debt and the obligations of government pensions, Social Security, Medicare, etc., we will not survive much longer. Those in government keep voting themselves more largess.

It does not matter much who you vote into office now. They can NOT do anything to change the direction that the country is now heading. The required changes would be way too much for Politicians to do or vote for even though the public is smart enough to ask for them. They vote for themselves and their future.

So... Yes, vote for your Conservative. Do you really think that things will change? Of course not, after a couple years in office, they continue to vote for themselves.

That is the problem. We have no Statesmen, no one who actually thinks of the future...and yet, you want to worry about minor things (well, I use to think of as major things) instead of where we are heading...

It is unfortunately going to take a bit of a revolution against government before things change - not violent, but a constant revolt until they actually decide to resolve real issues. Not really sure how that is going to happen, maybe tax revolt, maybe going Galt, not sure...but it is going to happen.
