Good points! And in general we are pretty polite when we’re riding — and you are SO RIGHT about cagers ONLY seeing cagers. You gotta ride like everyone is trying to kill you to be safe. :)

I agree, and when it comes to motorcycles vs cars, its mostly the cars; fault.

I was run off the road by a minivan on base a while back. A couple of people behind me helped me get the bike out of the ditch. One had a description of the plate and vehicle. Was a flag officer's wife. She apologized and signed the ticket. Later she learned it cost her driving privileges on base for a year.

If you want Admin Moderator action push the Abuse Button. Moderators do not see a ping unless they are specifically logged into the Admin Moderator account. They do the same to us when we we’re on out Harleys.

I know they have no way of knowing this but I’ve already seen biker friends run down by cars and die in bloody heaps, right in front of me and it nearly cost me my sanity.

I do NOT want to ever see it again and when they start pulling that showboating crap, I actually get flashbacks...sometimes bad enough that I have to stop the bike and calm down.

‘Also, I suspect the guy who came back to taunt the wounded officer might end up accidentally slipping on the back steps to the county jail. Several times.”

What a pity.
Hope he’s wearing his helmet.

You setting me up? ;-)

Not mine but identical. Probably the best car on the road for the money. The best part was not a whole lot of people knew what it was. Some folks saw the 6.0 on the back and assumed it was a V6 but certainly not a 6.0L V8. I even had one guy who customized cars for a living not know it had a 6.0L V8/LS2 engine. He made me pop the hood and then just stood there staring at it.

While we were in CA, we saw quite a bit of that. The first time one flew by us it was pretty surprising though.
