Deal is the stronger candidate and polls better against Barnes.

I’ve been refreshing like a crack addict, and I can say that it is trending toward Handel. She makes up a few hundred votes with every percent of the vote that comes in. Because today’s actual vote tally is at %100, that means if Handel wins, it’s because she won the Early Vote (in mail and in person.)

Yeah I’ve been refreshing too. I don’t live in GA(Stuck here in Liberal looney Cali) but this race is very interesting. At the end, I just want the candidate that can beat the Dem in November. I don’t follow this Palin Vs. Huckabee nonsense. They are just endorsements, at the end, its the people that decide..I just hope that if Deal does win, he can win in November

How is she a RINO? I’m not disputing you, I am simply curious why she gets put into that category.

Would that make Newt's picks "fat salamanders"?

Deal has led narrowly all night, but Handel’s going to win. Most of the vote is in statewide, but Fulton County (which includes downtown Atlanta and a large chunk of the northern burbs) has only 2/3 of its vote in — and Handel is winning in Fulton 70-30.

close elections are good for conservatives. Wins are the best, but that said the conservative brand if firmly entrenched.

RINOs are thouroughly spanked.

To me it means that many people went to the polls and gave a damn..this is good news..Hopefully these people show up in November and vote. Every vote counts because we have to torpedo the dead votes that ACORN and SEIU will try to cram through.
