Sure they did. They just didn't rise to the bait. Face it - Palin doesn't have the personal/political acumen to ignore the LSM. She'll be running around yelping "Mama Grizzly! Mamma Grizzly" while chasing down every real or percieved slight against her/her family, by the media.
Face it - she's damaged goods. And she's no way in hell a Ronald Reagan. That's another notion that needs to be dispelled.
