I used to when he was still on NBC back in the 1980's. Back then, the last thing he wanted to talk about was politics.

Oh, far too many of my very liberal friends must still think it's 1986 and still believe he's funny. To be perfectly honest, the late night talk show genre should have come to a screeching halt when Johnny Carson hung it up.
(That and Rush should have waited about 5 years or so and taken his TV experiment to Fox News, but that's neither here nor there).
