August was always the month, when President Bush went to his ranch in Crawford, but unlike the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, President Bush worked during his vacation, as you can see in the photos
He's a robot for sure, but it's a robot programed for evil.
And to think that so many decent Americans were too stupid or too ill informed to know that he wasn't the cool American Idol candidate they thought they were voting for.
Every bone in President Bush's body is decent, and every fiber of his being is real.
I can't even fathom what we've lost.
I know that Rush doesn't often have guests....but I sure would love it if Karl had one guest in particular---a certain very good friend of his! We can always hope! :)
I was so struck by this when I read the radio address that Kaslin posted. It was very sobering to realize once again, what we had, and what a desperate, horrible place we are in right now.

I was so angry this morning and had to remind myself that I am a Christian woman and shouldn’t be having such bad thoughts! Every time I think of a long-time member in our church who asked me if I was going to vote for Obama and I said no, I once again am astounded by his reply.
“I’ve been a Republican all my life and I’m voting for him; why, he’s written two wonderful books”. Because we are about the same age I replied that it was pretty sad that he was voting for an unknown because he had written two books, which no doubt someone else wrote for him!
This is a highly educated man with an extremely successful, very large company of his own.

Have you ever seen a more blatant example of the difference between good and evil, decent and indecent, ad infinitum?? I’m sure there’s a message in all of this but I’m still trying to figure out what it is!! I sure hope the calvary is going to arrive in time!

What a wonderful lady! So touching of her to remember the folks of Flight 93 who died as heroes on September 11:

Unlike that diva Michelle Obama flying around the globe like a high roller, Laura Bush is actually going to spend her valuable time to be at the Shanksville memorial. Nah, I doubt that the Obamas are even bothering to do that!
Laura IS a lady! I am reading her book and her remembrances of that awful day brought tears to my eyes. She was in the
eye of the storm and remained calm and serene. That’s bravery!
