Look at the stunning contrast to these days .. joy, ease and smiles literally on every single face in the presence of this gracious and kind man. God bless and keep him. Thank you, Kas, for your devotion keeping the flame present here on FR that will ever burn with gratitude and melancholy in all our hearts forever.
President Bush was a very emotional man. So unlike the aloof iceman sitting in the Oval Office now.
Rhonda Barbour Mischer:
He was very kind, really took the time to chat, ask about our group and encourage us to keep it up! I was most impressed with his friendliness! What a fun morning!
Hillary Aldrich:
I heard him laugh and it was that goofy giggle he does. It was so funny.
Rachael Hoflack:
He just went mountain biking and sunscreen was all over his face ha, ha, sooo sweaty but I gave him a hug anyways :D

Patty - you rock! Thanks for posting!!!
WOW . . . President Bush looks great and the women look appropriately impressed — THANKS for the photos!!
Can’t wait!
Thank you, patty, for the great pics of W.....sigh, wish he was still our President.
I’m going to a County political meeting tonight and I understand JEB will attend with Bill McCollum. I’ve printed one of the pics you posted. IF I get a chance ...and the courage....I’ll give the pic to JEB and let him know we LOVE and MISS his brother...and we still keep track of our dear W.
Go for it! I’m sure Jeb would be thrilled and probably amused to see his older brother in workout gear!
So President Bush is heading back to Haiti as a solo person (no Bill Clinton this time like his last trip in March!) tomorrow to see the progress on that country’s rebuilding efforts. Well, good for him. While many people have forgotten about Haiti, Bush has a big heart and still cares deeply about people who have nothing and need a helping hand. Be on the lookout for lots of photos and video from this trip tomorrow! This is an indication that he’s starting to step back into the spotlight in advance of his book coming out in November.
“Bush to visit Haiti Tuesday”

Oh, one little tidbit I picked up on Twitter today:
LisaArmstrong: So, it turns out Jenna Bush was on my flight and now at the same hotel. Wonder what she’s doing in Haiti.
Hmmmm...could it be that Jenna is in Haiti so she could do an interview with her father during his visit in Haiti on the Today show? That could be a real possibility. I guess we better keep our eyes out for that as well!
He’ll have a much better visit without that old letch with him! LOL!
I got notice of this trip from Laura on Facebook. LOL!
boo hoo........ I took the picture with me but, sadly, JEB had a schedule conflict and could not attend. He was with Bill McCollum, candidate for FL Gov, most of the day. McCollum was the speaker for the County Rep Party meeting and JEB had planned to join him.......but, alas, he couldn’t make it.
McCollum was very personable and gave a very good, energized talk. He remained after the meeting to speak with anyone who had questions, etc.
I love the fact that Jenna is meeting her dad in Haiti . . . And I too hope she plans to interview him for the Today show!
Karl did a GREAT job today!!
Again, thank you so much for this thread and the pictures. I just found it for this month - I always appreciate it.
I so miss President and Mrs. Bush.
You are very welcome
Sounds like Jenna would be the perfect person to interview her father!
I listened to part of the show, and Karl did great!
Excellent recon, patty!!! Thanks sooo much for posting!!
I thought so too! Rove Rocked!!!
