Very interesting article, an eye-opener for this public schooled Yankee. I love the Revolutionary war history but haven’t gotten into the Civil War, yet.

I also went to public school, a Yankee public school. When I really became interested in history, I was much more interested in the Founding Period. This was when the great men lived and acted. It took me a long time to get interested in WBS history; lots of battles, why should I care?

But eventually I realized that the government bequeathed to us by Jefferson, Madison and the boys doesn't really exist anymore. So I went looking to find out how it ended; and it didn't take long to zero in on Saint Lincoln.

Any hope of a return? Would it be possible?

You are releasing your inner rebel. Real torment begins when you actually become secesh, for that mental condition has but one cure. Welcome.
