You’ve got that right. Well, I think they are scared of the patriots in general. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be repeatedly playing the race card against the Tea Party. Heck, Nancy Pelosi played the “Nazi” card several months ago. That went over like a lead balloon.

I think for everyone who attends a Tea Party event there are many more - perhaps dozens - who cannot attend but are there in spirit.
I have a good deal of fun ridiculing the “coffee party” fail.
The point of the Tea Party was to toss the tax collector and it turned us into a nation of coffee drinkers.
However, do not underestimate the evil of Democrats fighting to keep power.

I've been calling out for sometime for STATES' RIGHTS, but few on this board bother to respond. I firmly believe it is our last resort and only power, we as the people, have to return to the promise of our Founding Fathers and their principles:
The above is where the grassroots should be building - not more general demonstrations on The Mall. While admiring their good intentions, they have done little to nothing to curtail the encroaching socialism against our Constitutional heritage. The elites in DC simply ignore such efforts, along with the their MSM supporters. They need to focus on where the true power is.
People on this forum ignore me because I'm no longer a supporter of "marches". Did their gatherings stop "tarp"; "fedgov takeover of GM et al?"; "stimulas package"? "obamacare"? "financial reform"? Will they stop "cap and tax" (EPA is already looking at a work around)? Will their signs stop Obama from using Executive privilege from signing an order for a backdoor amnesty? Well, maybe to the last one, since we stopped it before, but then was during the Bush administration. I highly doubt such opposition will stop the obama,reid,pelosi marxists.
The elites are determined to push every socialist/marxist program on us until next January, providing they lose the House. Even then, I'm not sure the Repubs have built enough cojones to fight the encroachment by defunding. The socialists are smart in knowing that it will be difficult, if not impossible to reverse their course.
Unfortunately, we are way past marching around with signs. You know better than most that I have been there and done that. It worked for awhile when the elite in DC would actually care years back. No longer.
