President Barack Obama has kept mum on the fate of Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) for days -- but he tells CBS News that it's time for the embattled 80-year-old former Ways and Means Chairman to end his career "with dignity."
"I think Charlie Rangel served a very long time and served-- his constituents very well. But these-- allegations are very troubling," Obama told Harry Smith in an interview to be aired on the "Early Show." and first broadcast on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
"And he'll-- he's somebody who's at the end of his career. Eighty years old. I'm sure that-- what he wants is to be able to-- end his career with dignity. And my hope is that-- it happens. "
Throwing another one under the bus, quickly. I guess he didn’t learn anything from the Sherrod dump. Not that Rangel doesn’t need to get the f*** out of politics, because he does, the rotten, crooked scum.

Charlie, don’t let him do this. This is Obama’s White half talking to you. That half hates Blacks... he’s racist and want’s to make you one of his slaves.
Hang in there Charlie, fight this into next year. If you leave now, you will leave a broken man, run off by the White cracker side of Obama.

Unbelievably stupid of Ob to openly use Rangel’s age against him like that. Elderly people need to take notice of Ob’s dismissive attitude toward the aged. This is the second time Ob has basically marginalized people because of their age. Remember that during the campaign he said that it might be better for an old person to “take the pill” instead of getting surgery. Somebody needs to use Obama’s disdain for the elderly against him.
How about you do the same Obozo?
To carry on the bus metaphor . . . wasn’t the whole civil rights movement of the ‘60’s started by one black lady wanting to sit in the front of the bus? And now, several decades later, the bus is being driven by a black man who doesn’t care who gets run down by the bus.
*Sigh* Another poor African American forced to resign by the this administration before anyone(Ethics committee) fully investigates the context(possible charges.) I hope media and NAACP picket the White House for a few weeks.
