Munāphē mēṁ vr̥d'dhi which is how to say "we are in the money" in Hindi, at least according to Google's translation service.
Philadelphia communications giant Comcast Corp. announced yesterday that profits rose 6 percent to $9.5 billion clearly helped by a 2.4 percent cut in customer service expenses and a 7 percent cut in technical labor.

Comcast ping
So they cut testicle labor...bad comcast.
This story reminds me of all those pieces attempting to cover for O by going on about how uplifting "funemployment" is. "Oh those darn customers -- now that we don't have any, we realize what a pain in the butt they were, always calling and wanting stuff, griping because this or that didn't work."
I hate comcast....hate that I have to pay for boxes and a fee every month for the tvs in my kids rooms. I won’t do it....they are going back to college next month......always raising prices and dropping services. What was once a $99 promo for bundling 3 pkgs for phone, cable & internet now is well over $190.....we’re looking elsewhere
I love that my DH hooked a computer up to our plasma tv.
Between that, Netflix and the antenna, we are set.
Saves us 50.00 a month.
Gotta do something to pay for NBC
I have Comcast. If I want cable internet, it’s my only option.
I pay Comcast $105 per month for basic cable and internet - no phone. I hate it too but there are no other options for those services in my area.
Comcast has customer service?
Comcast SUCKS!
We switched and went to Verizon. At least they talk to uss.
They can't be worse than Time-Warner.
We have Brighthouse, which is a small regional outfit spun off from Time/Warner.
Pay 110/mo for HD tv, DVR, internet, and landline phone.
Their customer support is actually here in Indiana.
I have been surprisingly pleased with their customer service.
DirecTV is hands down, by far the absolute best TV experience.
:D
Service has been quite good, and they are good about offering comps.
We are just switching to their internet phone service from land line. The comcast bill will go down, and we'll save $50 per month in addition by dropping land line.
They couldn't install it last week because storms knocked out service. They comped us 3 months of a premium movie channel.
Dear Madeline:
When you find a replacement for ComCast, please let me know what it is. I have the triple play, too, and the monthly cost has nearly doubled for me, as well.
Yeah I hate them too. If you pay for HBO or HD channels, you shouldn’t get nicked for the damn boxes too. At least they don’t charge for the digital converters, but then I can’t get the channels I pay for on those sets.
And some of that great tech help killed my DVR the other day when they sent some kind of fixit utility down the wire.
I could go over to Dish Direct and get a DSL line for a little less than the 190 I pay now, but there’s a whole different set of headaches there.
