Washington, USA - A new bill is heading to Obama soon that will require all United States citizens to do national service. All citizens between 18 and 42 will be required to do national service under bill HR 5741 to meet "end strength" requirements.
The bill was already introduced and is now heading to the Committee. If successful the bill will then be going to the house and then senate whereafter Obama will sign the bill and make it official.
The US is seeing its lowest support for their wars and occupation globally since 9/11. Obama's promises to bring the troops home are now long forgotten and soon citizens of the United States will have no choice but to "support" the war.

Just read it - I don’t think I’ve seen a piece of legislation lately that’s both so full of holes and so subject to abuse. Under this scheme, an entire generation of health care providers could be involuntarily inducted into the Public Health Service at the President’s whim. And that’s just for starters.

I’m thinkin’ what about the “kids” who have gone to college, gotten jobs, and into their careers and then...POW.. at age 41+ they are scooped up and thrown into some hell hole, shoveling manure, just to feel good? Who will pay their student loans, mortgage, feed their kids, etc?

I am not usually very blunt with other members of the forum but this post is worthless. The article makes a broad assertion: “headed to Obama soon” like it is a done deal yet then launches into a recap of “I’m Just a Bill” civics lesson from ABC Saturday morning TV of 30 years ago.
The actual bill, HR 5471, was introduced by Rangel of NY as he has done in many past Congresses. It has never gotten any political traction in the past and will not do so this time. I think we need to play in front of all the school kids on the first day of school a recording of Obama’s education guy saying he thinks school days should be 12 hours long, 7 days a week, with no summer break. That’s the entire waking day for a kid. 8am to 8pm.
There is no way that would increase the learning of the kids. It would make them insane. The only reason for ANYBODY to want to remove all family time and all church time for those kids is the exact same reason that Hitler instituted all his programs, including the introduction of kindergarten: to get them away from the freedom-loving, Christian influence of their parents so they could more easily be brainwashed.
What’s sad is that there are parents who would love it because it would be free babysitting. My sister-in-law teaches in a poor neighborhood. She says non-working families get government money to pay for childcare while the kids are not in school.
This is how Obama and the communist Democrat Party plan to create their alien, non-white "civilian" SS force to crush Christian, capitalist white America. That's how I see it.

Not that it applies to me, but maybe the hippies should be dusting off their “Hell no! We won’t go!” signs.
The place to start looking is the Progressive Caucus, members of which are supported by the DSA (the communist organization of America).
There are probably more who do not belong to the Progressive Caucus.
Wouldn’t it be funny if the GOP was able to turn this into a meritocracy? Service brings citizenship type thing. The libs heads would explode. Esp if there was an introductory period that required education in freedoms and the Constitution.
People of this country do serve. They pay their taxes according to the law. If they don’t pay any taxes, the law has to change. Fair Tax is the way to go then everyone will serve this country.
