Hi, I am Larry Chesley but friends call me "Lucky." I was a Prisoner of War in Vietnam for 2,494 days, not quite 7 years. John McCain was a Prisoner of War for 1,966 days. We both served honorably as prisoners. That is where any similarity between John and I ends. Our politics could not be further apart.
At the Mesa Town Hall last night, I asked the audience three questions. I ask the people of Arizona those three questions today. No. 1: When McCain loses this election, do you think he will stay in Arizona? And they said no. No. 2: Can you name one thing that McCain has done for the people of Arizona? And they said no. No. 3: Can this election be bought? And they said no.
There's an alternative. It's JD Hayworth. I've known JD since he first ran for office. I was running for office at the same time. We were at many of the same events. I was very impressed with his ability and knowledge of government and history, and his ability to present those ideas to others. Since those early days, JD and I have become really good friends.

Ping for later...
When I am reminded that when McC came to congress he immediately befriended that low life bum, John Kerry.
Kerry, the man who made the POWs life hell on earth with his false accusations against them, our American troops.
This is really unforgivable. Added to his assault on the Swift Boat Vets and it took every ounce of my will to pull the lever for him on election day.
If not for Sarah I would have stayed home.
Thank you for your service, sir.
Another question I have is, if McCain does lose the primary, will he run as an independent in the general?
I don’t think he will MountainWoman. I do think he and Cindy will leave the state. I think they’ve always hated this state. Cindy would be much happier in California and John has absolutely no ties here at all.
There’s only ONE question and I wish every conservative (esp in Arizona was asking it):
If McCain ends up with another 6 years in the Senate, who is he going to spend his time — all his time, 24/7 — getting even with?
J.D. for Senate Ping
Thanks for sharing...and thanks for your service.
I do hope JD wins....re-electing McCain would do nothing but help Obama and Liberals. McCain is a vote for Amnesty, Cap And Trade, Global Warming, and a whole bunch of other Liberal issues.
His antics during the POW/MIA hearings back in the 90’s were outright despicable...in fact....treasonous
JD could be a country turnip and STILL BE BETTER THAN McCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If they send McLame back to Washington they deserve more of the same that they have been getting for 24 years from him
FIRE *ALL* INCUMBANTS
Great idea! We'll fire DeMint here in SC and send Alvin Green to DC!
Idiot.........
No, he can't, the deadline to get on the ballot has passed.
Good - I’ll help ‘em pack!
OK. Hold the flames for a moment.
I take nothing from John McCain for his service. He is a hero in every context of the word. But that in no way gives him the creds to be president. I \volunteered for Viet Nam and did three tours. I dont feel qualified to be President. Maybe two points above the current buffoon in the office but in no way ready to lead the nation.
John McCain is a petulant immature sorry excuse of a man. Wasnt he the one who lead the Gang of 14 who compromised the power of President Bush by setting themselves above the constitution. Shake the cobwebs out your memories and go back to 2005 for that bit of treason. If not treason, I would certainly say it was worthy of any RICO crime.
I admire John for his service as a POW but for nothing else. I would be happy to change my opinion of him if anyone could show me one solid ethical value he stands for and has maintained that stand consistently over the years.
OK Flame away.
Me too, pal!
Oh, good. well hopefully he goes down in flames and gets the hell out of AZ.
BTTT! Toss the leftist-lover out!

The War Secrets Sen. John McCain Hides (about his Congressional committee work not his military service)
Lucky,
Thank you for your service to this country. Three great questions. I appreciate what McCain must have gone through as a P.O.W. and respect that. However, I do not respect his beliefs for this country.
