He knows it will be at least a decade before voters forget his brother’s disaster. I'm not so sure about that. Two more years of the real disaster we have now will make President Bush look like a candidate for Mt. Rushmore.

Had he ended with 1 term, maybe. After that sharp left term to start his 2nd term, no way. He was driving when this economic disaster was coming on. He started the bailouts.
I don't give him a pass. That would be about like wanting Ford back after Carter's disaster.
