Most of the special “metals” used in these batteries come from China. Now how dumb can we be???

There was a History Channel show that lamented the nickel mines of Siberia. Horrid conditions, without a doubt. But the gist of it was, they wouldn't have be working in such deplorable conditions if it weren't for the American need for the product.

Of course, this aired during GW's term.

LI-Po batteries are NOT really that “gee-whiz” anymore—They have been used for years in consumer items.
