The difference is, Kerry never met a tax increase he didn't like. So the hypocrisy is that he advocates for taxes on everyone else, then he does anything he can not to pay them himself.

Hopefully you mean avoiding the taxes as opposed to imposing. It's not that Kerry tried to avoid paying taxes, it's that he SUPPORTED those taxes that he is unwilling to pay.
