Notorious Tax Hiker John Kerry Caught Not Paying His Taxes
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | Joe Wallis

The Washington Post Sunday edition had the headline, “Battle Looms on Tax Breaks: Bush-Era Cuts for Rich at Issue.” There is definitely a fight brewing on Capitol Hill as the Bush Tax Cuts near an end and the Obama administration is looking at sticking it to the rich with tax hikes. You would think that the Bush Tax cuts were only for the rich as you listen to the debate. What I propose is that the rich and powerful actually pay their taxes and stop using loopholes, shelters, and deceit.

Senator John Kerry is docking his built in New Zealand 76 foot luxury yacht in Rhode Island. Kerry, of Massachusetts, wants to avoid the high tax bill that he would receive in MA for his $7 million custom boat. The Boston Herald reported that he saves “approximately $437,500 in sales tax and an annual excise tax of about $70,000.” Kerry, one of the wealthiest members of the Senate, has yet to see a tax hike he would vote against. He frequently states that the rich do not pay their fair share of taxes. In his own case, he is right on the money.

We have another wealthy and powerful member of Congress who has some trouble paying his share of the tax bill. Representative Charles Rangel of New York was last week charged by the House Ethics Committee with multiple violations. The exact nature of the violations has not been released to the public.

But let’s be clear. They’re not “his taxes.” Tax avoidance is not illegal. He’s a stinkin’ hypocrite, of course.

The natural societal evolution....from citizen representation to a ruling aristocracy and serfs.

The Kennedy Royal family has been temporarily replaced by the Clintons: note the Charles and Diana wedding redux !!!!!!!

We really should ban all those King Arthur & Cinderella-type childrens’ books!!!!

He's a stinkin' hypocrite, and he can't (or won't) figure out that if he is willing to risk political capital and spend time and effort, changing his behavior to avoid taxes he can easily afford, why can't he anticipate big companies and investors dong the same on a larger scale?

John Kerry = Steve Wynn.

Rhode Island = Red China.

Masachusetts = U.S.A.

Luxury Yacht = Casino/Resorts Corporate Headquarters

May my children forgive me for saying something favorable about this snake who is my (sob) senator.
This boat was designed by a Rhode Islander. Under a brilliant move by a former governor of Rhode Island, any boat PURCHASED from a Rhode Island dealer (no matter where made), then registered and home-ported in Rhode Island is free of any sales tax. This was done to counter the disaster that befell the boating industry when Bush 1 institued the “luxury tax” on boats years ago.
As a result, the boating industry and business is booming in Rhode Island, as it has attracted thousands of boaters from Mass. (me), New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and even a couple of people from New York. There are hundreds of jobs at crowded marinas, marine supply stores and support facilities.
All those boater leave in their wake, a trail of MONEY behind them, from restaurants, shops, malls, gas stations, supermarkets, and personal services.
Kerry is STILL a snake, but the sailing on Narragansett Bay is great, the waters protected, and it’s a short hop to the ocean.
Come to think of it, here is an example of the theory that a reduction of TAXES promotes as boom in economic activity. I think that governor was Sunderland.
