I think it is very good progress and she is encouraged about the insulin issue.
As she should be. She may have been right all along. Doctors do make mistakes!
Unless they got a reading that was very high and re-did it and it showed the same, I don't understand why they didn't start her on an oral med instead of insulin in the beginning.
