His comment asking what he’s supposed to do about would indicate that he feels it’s a waste of his time. But that’s no reason to call others dumbasses for working on it or being concerned about it.

I already specifically addressed this.

The fact of the matter is that it’s a waste of time to pass laws, if they’re never going to be enforced anyway. And this whole thing with Obama has happened because laws have not been enforced and the people who could have done something about it....... were too busy calling me and my fellow concerned Americans dumbasses for caring about the rule of law. The people who are real dumbasses are the ones who spend their time passing laws that will never be enforced anyway. Talk about a real waste of time!

That is a straw man argument, and a waste of time, BTW. The founders did not waste their time in writing the constitution. But it is clearly a waste of time and effort getting a candidate so wrapped around the axle about this issue that he lessens his chance of getting into office where he can do something about it.

Do you think the law was overlooked by accident? We need people in office that will uphold the law. Candidates must focus on the issues most important to the electorate. Obama’s birth certificate isn't one of them, and asking this guy about it over and over again isn't going to change that any more than posting about it over and aver.

The place to attack this issue is in each state by requiring proof to be on the ballot. If he is exposed, or is forced off of the ballot in some key states the job is done.

I had a post to you, tried 3 different times to post it but FR was apparently having problems.

Maybe that means I should keep it shorter. lol.

NJ and CT already had laws requiring eligibility to be verified. It made no difference. SCOTUS wouldn’t hear the suit. What makes us think anybody could have “standing” to file suit even if the process for verifying eligibility explicitly said the BC had to be presented?

Sure, we should try to close the loopholes, but until law ENFORCMENT actually means we the people can demand that the laws be followed, it won’t matter what laws are passed. We have to unbind the hands and feet of the people, so that we are once again respected because of the power we have to make the laws stick.

Obama’s strategy seems to be to grow so many branches that are so big, that we see each branch as so significant that we have to fight it. And we do. But the only way to get rid of that many huge branches is to cut out the roots.

Cut down the healthcare takeover and something even worse will sprout in its place. Undo the auto takeover and they’ll take over the entire transportation industry. Elect Brown to allow a filibuster and they’ll just use reconciliation. Etc. It’s like a Hydra: when you cut off one head, 3 grow back in its place. The only way to defeat it is at its heart, at its roots.

It may be more expedient to talk about the sexy subjects - the trees that people can see and fear. But it’s only temporarily effective. As long as we fear exposing the rotten roots, it WILL be toxic for a person to focus on the roots, but without addressing the roots, we can never accomplish anything lasting.

Whether we like it or not, at some point we have to pull out the corruption and lies by the roots so we get back to a condition where the people have the truth and real power that crooks and politicians have to fear. That is the whole foundation of our government with its separation of powers, checks and balances, and Constitutional rule - and how we are supposed to be protected from the very corruption we have right now.

We will have to do it against the media, because they are the stinking fertilizer that has fed this corrupt monster all along.

I’m tired of false labor. It’s time for the birth, not more uncomfortable piddling around that doesn’t get anything done.

I want people in power who recognize how America has come to this forsaken, lawless, unaccountable, tyrannical mess that it’s in and will boldly fight the real battle of our time.

I doubt whether somebody who fears being caught on tape answering questions about Obama’s birth certificate is up to that challenge. The battle is so, so much bigger than that, and if he can be felled by such a small swat I don’t hold out much hope. This is a time for boldness, truth, and uncompromising commitment to re-establishing the rule of law regardless of how the media howls against it.

We are in a fight for the very existence of this nation. We are in a nuclear battle; we can’t afford to bring a pea-shooter and run away when somebody asks us what kind of peas we intend to shoot.
