Really? Was he correct to call TEA Partiers ‘dumbasses’?

How can you ask if he was correct to call someone something that he didn't? He said that about those who were hung up over the birth certificate issue. He did not say that about the tea partiers.

Or was he correct when he backed off that remark.

He didn't back off of it because he never made it. And in the statement he did make, he only backed off of the language used.

According to the Denver Post, Buck was caught on tape saying in June, "Will you tell those dumbasses at the Tea Party to stop asking questions about birth certificates while I'm on camera." He added, laughing: "God, what am I supposed to do?"

You got me on that one...but he didn’t back off of the remark...he backed off of the language, still negating your point about being two-faced.
