How does one portray Hitler in context?
I don't know. Have a scene to "justify" his hatred of Jews? Like one where a young Hitler is correctly told by a Jewish Art Gallery Owner that his paintings are crap. Or one where a Jewish Doctor fails to cure his VD. Or one where he meets a Jewish man with a better mustache than his.
And maybe a scene to show how he wasn't "all bad". Show him petting his dog. And show how in love he was, with his niece.
Stone: "Hitler was a Frankenstein but there was also a Dr Frankenstein. German industrialists, the Americans and the British"
Ah it's all big bidness and the USA's fault. Of course. Hitler was just OUR Frankenstein.
Mel Gibson to star in Stone's next film?
