THE US government secretly advised Scottish ministers it would be "far preferable" to free the Lockerbie bomber than jail him in Libya.
Correspondence obtained by The Sunday Times reveals the Obama administration considered compassionate release more palatable than locking up Abdel Baset al-Megrahi in a Libyan prison.

It was definitely the Stone Eelephant during 1967-68 that was the O-Club. I spent some time there. I lived in Camp Tien Sha at the base of Monkey Mountain. The White Elephant compound was NSA’s HDQTRS.

I think you are very wrong. This will be the lead story in talk radio and the GOP leadership in Congress will be calling for a full investigation. The GOP has just been handed a big gift. Even the Stupid Party understands that. The Menendez hearings on Thursday should be a real circus.
