When I could no longer deny how "lib and gay" the Methodist church went, I survived on home churches and home prayer groups for almost ten years. I recently found a Traditional Anglican church where the liturgy is from the long 2,000-year journey before the hippification of the churches; but I am not sure yet whether it is still affiliated with the greater Episcopal structure. Hence I do not know where the money goes, and dread asking those questions, since the worship has been such a great relief.
