I think what they did was laugh at themselves knowing they too have felt or had the same thoughts. She was obviously trying to make a teaching point. Her point was, the guy was poor and needed help....we have to help the poor no matter what color they are....that was my job.

What the video did was show only part of a story...just like MSNBC did with the racist person at a tea party rally. What MSNBC didnt show was the confrontation of tea party people asking the guy to leave because he did not represent the party...they asked him if he was not going to leave then to turn his shirt inside out ( he wore a swastika t-shirt). MSNBC only show the guy with the t-shirt at the tea party rally and said it was evidence of the racism that goes on within the party......

CONTEXT DOES MATTER!

They didn't just laugh they cheered and said things like "right" and "yeah!" How does that fit into your apologetic? It wasn't nervous laughter either.
