I see CNN is still on the JournoList.

JournoList
The template for responding to breaking news that undermines their political favorites is almost always the same, a three step process designed to undercut the validity of the story, destroy the credibility of the storyteller, and then ensure that no one outside the new conservative media ever hears about it – or at least about the most important elements.

The first step is to minimize the story. So, the arm of the Democrat Party named ACORN feels it’s just fine to give advice to would be child sex traffickers? It’s nothing – it’s just a side show that happened in once…okay, twice…I mean three times…I mean… anyway, it’s not important. How about New Black Panthers intimidating voters? Well, it’s just one precinct in Philadelphia and all the voters there were probably voting for Obama anyway so it’s really not that important. Maybe a government bureaucrat admitting – publicly and proudly – that she treats white farmers in need of assistance worse than black ones? Well, that’s one woman and she’s off in the boonies of Georgia! It’s not important.

You minimize a story to deprive it of the greater meaning that it truly has. By making it one single, remote event, you remove it from any context.

The second step is to marginalize the speaker. That’s the truly fun part for the MSM laptop thugs. Here, you can unload on the person who dares break the story in order to shift the focus from what the story shows to the myriad personal failings – real or just made-up, it doesn’t matter – of the one who tells. In their world, the ACORN scandal, the real story is the wicked James O’Keefe, or antichrist du jour Andrew Breitbart – compared to the ACORN drones who were merely facilitating child prostitutes, these rightwingers were a million times worse.

The third and final step: Drop it down the memory hole. Simply stop reporting anything, or ignore the story all together.

Because she said that it was “all” about race.

Crazy, isn’t it. Just how bad is it going to get before it implodes, explodes or otherwise hits bottom and gets turned around, I’d like to know.

It’s funny because I listened to the tape, and it had all that information; and I never thought it was overtly racist anyway, and thought the administration was overreacting. And it was funny to watch NAACP go off half-cocked, like they always do these days.

Well, isn’t the point that everything the NAACP used to falsely accuse the tea party were little snippets taken out of context, and wholy made up charges?

Doesn’t this illustrate exactly what is wrong with the NAACP?

Or was this their plan all along? To “overreact”, so they could turn this story into how evil Fox news made them do bad things?

In the video, Sherrod, can be heard telling an audience at a March 27, 2009, appearance before a local chapter of the NAACP that she had not given a white farmer "the full force of what I could do" to help him save the family farm.

So, let me get this straight...the NAACP was snookered by Breitbart because he only showed a partial clip of a speech she made to the same-said NAACP? Does this make sense to anyone?

Did the NAACP audience laugh and applaud the description of screwing the white man before she revealed her "conversion" or not? Maybe Sherrod has reformed herself. The NAACP is clearly full of racists.
