What a country. Obama lives in fear of Glenn Beck's Fox News show. 5 p.m. Eastern time Monday-Friday must bring on the chain smoking jones big time.

Give Beck his props, it may be a bit unseemly, but I still hope he crows over it tonight.

This thug statism. So criticism of an official for malfeasance by a private citizen is "harassment"?

Right out of Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia.

Next up: show trials where the poor, maligned government officials can expound on their grievance at the hands of the mean old press.

If that doesn’t define the meaning of wimp; being afraid of Glen Beck. Man, Chicago has really gone downhill on tough guys since Dillinger.

Yeah, so much for the people saying she’s changed her way of thinking. What does her being a racist have to do with Beck? You got your own butt fired, lady.

I kinda hope GB takes Sherrod’s side and goes after the Obama administration and the NAACP for their knee-jerk overreaction.

this story is breaking badly against the white house in the MSM. it's translating something like, "a lot of people would cut her some slack for telling a story about how she managed to come to grips with the race issue 25 years ago, but the white house just up and canned her a$$ based on snippets of video tape because she was going to be on a TV show".

remember how the obamites insisted that jeremiah wright couldn't be judged because of those half a dozen horrible video segments? "can't judge 20 years based on a few seconds of videotape", & etc . . . well, apparently THAT isn't the rule at the white house anymore.

Inconceivable!

Mark Levin and Michael Savage both told me on multiple occasions that Glenn Beck sucks. Savage went so far as to make fun of Beck for being diagnosed with an eye problem that may make him go blind.

Yet, the White House doesn’t seem to be ‘worried’ about Mark Levin or Michael Savage.

I wonder why that is.

So true. Beck is fearless and while he’s not always right about everything, like Rush he’s about 99.9 percent spot on with his findings.

Pray for Glenn, his family and staff... he’s doing the work nobody else has the guts to do!

Not that I am defending this lady, but I find it interesting that Obama feels so threatened by Fox News that he would throw this meaningless bureaucrat under the bus so quickly. Of course, just like with Prof Gates/Sgt Crowley, he throws the person under the bus without waiting for the story to come out completeley.

" Sherrod said White House officials wanted her to quit immediately because the controversy was "going to be on Glenn Beck tonight."

Oh, trust me, its going to be on Beck now!

"going to be on Glenn Beck tonight."

I'm curious to know how they knew that ahead of time.

I am kind of curious about the legality of firing her this way.

If I recall correctly the over the phone firing of Gerald Walpin was illegal.

She has learned the blame game well. So far she has blamed fox news, tea party, NAACP, and Glenn Beck. I’m sure the list will grow.
