I totally agree with what you say.
Off-topic, but I do wish you'd refrain from debasing the English language by employing "twitter-speak," but that is just my personal opinion, and if you don't like it, I'll still agree with your sentiment about Savage (I refuse to follow his name with a hundred exclamation points as I see on FR frequently). I think he's an unlistenable A-hole.
I'm a bit of an old fart, and I find the shorthand hard to decipher. In the classic expression, "It's not you, it's me." What you wrote is not tough, but look at your average teen-ager's text message and you'll know what I mean.
Good One!
lol
Michael savage—NO MORE
i listen to both of them. they are both drama queens. both have issues.
i like savage because he doesnt follow party lines. i like beck because he talks about things no one else in the media will. they both do that.
both say things i may not agree with, but i just drop one because my little heart is offended.
they both talk abotu subjects im interested in, so i will continue to listen to both.
I honestly think Savage is a bit bipolar with somewhat of an ineriority complex.coming from NYC he has that mental thing going on related to it.
Otherwise he is brilliant and sharp in talents but with this cloud that goes with him.
Michael savage—NO MORE
I don’t think he’s a nut. Well, not yet.
I think he’s a fake.
He’s a liberal who adopted an over-the-top populist (not really conservative, or at least not a thinking conservative) persona and is GOING crazy as a result.
I disagree. That’s exactly what Savage would want. It would give him a platform to say more.
wow, and i cant type..lol
Savage hurts our cause.
I agree, I think Mr. Savage is going to find that he seriously misunderestimated Mr. Beck.
I agree with a lot of what Savage has to say, but to castigate Beck over his announcement is way over the top.
I used to listen to Savage a lot back in the nineties... AND... giving credit where it is due, he was banging the drum on Borders! Language! Culture! for a long time before it became a major issue for ~anybody~ else.
But even in that he was always something of a one-trick pony. It was the same show over, and over, and over again.
I don’t dislike him, I’m just exhausted of him.
But, I'm rarely in the car by myself these days, and even more rarely after 7pm. lol
Listening to Rush Limbaugh is like watching paint dry.
You mean you don’t like “dynachrome”? Dyna=dynaflow transmissions. Chrome=lots of chrome. He likes old cars.
As far as I’m concerned, Savage is an embarrassment to conservatism. This kind of cruel and uncaring commentary is the kind of stuff I expect from the juveniles at DU.
I happened over to HuffPo yesterday and read about two pages of comments to the announcement of Glenn’s diagnosis. To my shock (and pleasure) the vast majority of posters expressed sympathy and well wishes, and chided the few who made comments a la Savage.
Something is wrong with Savage. I dont listen to him, ever.
I once gave a bum a couple bucks who looks exactly like this guy. Is Michael Savage originally from Philadelphia?
