“Compare canadian defense spending to other countries of the world and NATO.”
One can be a tall midget, but you’re stil a midget.
NATO, with the exception of England, barely pulls its weight.

No, they are turning it into a third world country more along the lines of mexico or haiti Well sure that the final destination but we have to pass through the "Canada" stage before we get to third world "Mexico/Haiti" stage..
But then again Canada is also headed to the third world Mexico/Haiti stage
So maybe Canada and the US are in a race to the bottom

To avoid the normal “friendly casualties” that happen in every war, the Canadians could tell us not to give air support to that tiny portion of their population that are warriors, would that satisfy you?

So maybe Canada and the US are in a race to the bottom That may be so. if you want to know who is winning, spend a few days in detroit or niagara falls USA and then cross over the border to windsor or niagara falls canada and draw your own conclusion.

I do not require satisfaction on this issue. I’m just pointing out why some Canadians aren’t 100% happy with the US. I know this may be tough for you (you pick nonsense fights more than just about anybody else on the forum), but deal with it.

Im just pointing out why some Canadians arent 100% happy with the US. That, and a post out of the blue about an old friendly fire incident is trying to pick a nonsensical fight as can be. Both of your posts were totally irrelevant to anything.
The Texas that the author mocks, produces more warriors every year than the entire nation of Canada.

Canada:
1. Confiscatory taxation
2. crippling sales (16% federal+provicial[state])
3. Hyperregulated and LIMITED banking. No risk no gain
4. Quebec hates everyone. (which is why the ability of seagoing vessels to directly bypass montreal en route to the great lakes is a positive for shipping)
5. Canadian deathcare. You old?= you die.

not to take away anything at all from texas and it's warriors, the population of the state of texas is nearly that of the country of canada so the statistic is not that shocking. The idea that canada sends troops to battle where some are killed just so that someone can make posts on a forum is just foolish and insulting to anyone who made the ultimate sacrifice in battle.

I am both Canadian and American (one parent from each country).
PM me and I will let you know how you can personally tell my Canadian half I am cowardly, to my face.

American and Canadians are a lot more the same than different.
One big difference between the two countries is Canada produces a lot of oil and hydro electricity....not to mention the abundance of fresh water. Don’t piss them off to much, eh!

Nice how you guys always use the tiny number of Canadian military personnel to deflect criticism of the cowardly nation in general, what would you use as a defense if you didn’t have that little 67,000 member military.
Texas is much smaller than Canada in population, it is not called on to supply ALL of the military like a nation is, yet it still produces 20 to 25% more warriors annually than the nation of Canada.
Every time Canada comes into discussion, the Canadians rush to use the handful of military personnel as cover for the nations failings.

you guys? What are you talking about? I've never discussed this subject with anyone as far as I recall. Canada is a cowardly nation because 20 to 25% of their citizens don't enlist? OK. Can't argue with logic like that. If you want to accuse whole nations of cowardliness, see post 53. I suspect there are plenty of troops in that little canadian military that would like to take up the subject with you also.

In the free world, most, yes.
Most the West has hidden behind the USA and let the US taxpayers pay for their defense.
