This happens thousands of times an hour in America: a non-black customer walks into a business and notices that they must ask assistance of the mostly female black (and overweight) staff. Common sense and personal history clue you that THIS will be sticky and full of bad attitude.

My father was in Hartford Hospital for a procedure. The nursing staff is black. He brought in and promenently displayed pictures of his four black grandchildre and noted that the care all of a sudden became a lot better.
We are headed for a race war. Blacks have been told for years that they deserve a pound of flesh from all white peole walking. They believe that they have a RIGHT to kill white babies. Not all blacks but enough.
Sowell with his years of studying race and culture must have some sort of perspective. My years of studying his books makes me very afraid.
