Indiana Black Expo President and CEO Tanya Bell released the following statement late Saturday night: "As our community celebrates 40 years of having one of the largest African-American events in the country, we are saddened by the reported incidents that occurred downtown this evening. Fortunately, none of the incidents resulted in life threatening injuries. We are still waiting to hear if the incidents were related and who was involved."

Once again the authorities have been fooled by a Norwegian Berserker Motorcycle Gang. Several years ago, they raided a little theater group in Coon Rapids, and made off with costumes, makeup, and dialect training CDs and have been a-viking around the land ever since.

They imitate other ethnic groups with uncanny skill, confusing local authorities. This riot has all the earmarks of their operations. All the guns going off, and the crowds running helter-skelter, ambulances running back and forth to the emergency rooms: perfect cover and distraction for one of the greatest lutefisk robberies of all time. No St. Olaf's Day in Indianapolis this year.
