I have gay friends who are just as appalled at these parades as I am, they know it does more harm to their cause, which is to just be left alone.
I have no problem with what two consenting adults do, or at least I don’t think there is any reasonable thing I could have the government do to stop them.
However, when they encroach on the social norms in such an “in your face” manner, that’s where I have the problem. And that’s where the problems lies, you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile.

in your bedroom is up to them and their business but to come out and have these parades, demo’s protests etc is where everyone I know minus a couple get pissed off.
they used to say it is their business , well then keep it private, I don’t nor does anyone I now run around letting everyone know what they like sexually.
if they stopped their in your face and stopped pushing their agenda then they would get more support and one homosexual guy I used to work with said these parades are an embarrassment, his life, his privacy and he does not need to tell anyone nor get out there in public pushing his view.
