Like Michael Phelps, I would guess that Venus has to consume something north of 5-6K calories a day in order to not lose weight. Americans are FAT. Anyone who spends anytime abroad, and then comes back here, knows that we're fat. And, the more we understand and educate our population about the dangers of some kinds of meat, of some kinds of fat, of excessive refined sugars in our diets and excessive portions, the better our collective health will become - and the lower our medical costs will be.
Obesity kills - it kills WAY more than guns, drunk drivers, murderers, terrorist - or any number of other dangerous activities or people that we get so worked up over. If Michelle Obama goes to the NAACP and tells them that black people are fat because they have horrible diets - she's right - and good for her.
