Maybe we don’t want to live until someone has to feed us our strained peas with a spoon.

"Maybe we dont want to live until someone has to feed us our strained peas with a spoon." Sure that's an intelligent retort. /s
I don't want to live until someone has to feed me, so I'm going to balloon to 300 lbs. Good luck with that. Hopefully Darwin will work his magic before you reproduce.

Faron Young wanted to, “Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young and Leave a Beautiful Memory”, in later years he sang, “Live Fast, Love Hard and Die FARON Young” because he considered himself too old to die young. I suppose I am too old to die young but the advantages of dying while still vigorous are more attractive every day. I don’t want to be remembered as a lump lying in a bed 24 hours a day. I suppose I could always go and play in traffic.

Couldn't agree more. I don't want to be obese, because that is a handicap in itself, but all of this worrying about everything that you eat or drink and in what quantities because it might knock off a couple of years from your life is just silly. People seem to have become convinced that the goal is to live as long as possible, but don't realize that much of that long life might be spent strapped in a wheelchair peeing in a bag.
