Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston say they're engaged and they haven't told her parents yet.
Palin, the daughter of 2008 vice-presidential candidate and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, is featured on the cover of Us Weekly with Johnston, holding their son, 18-month-old Tripp.

I hear ya!!
??? That SO makes no sense. I do not consider not existing to be an improvement over most existences (this includes Tripp's existence.)
Despite the nasty comments, let’s keep this in perspective. We are dealing with teenagers that are operating under extreme circumstances. Teenagers can operate poorly under ideal circumstances. It’s a shame they went to the press with the engagement, but not even Palin’s kids are exempt from seeking limelight and quick money.
It sucks, but it is their family and I can not judge. We have many teenage “screw up” stories in our family - and that is just life.
I think Bristol has been an excellent mother. Levi, maybe not so much but we don’t know anything about his private relationship with his son. As usual we are listening to the MSM that we claim has no credibility.
Bristol sued Levi for child support last year. He had to pay a healthy sum for one child.
Mostly because he made some bucks the dems gave him for “odd jobs”, which he probably frittered away on fun.
Bristol should demand a courtship for over two years to see if he is legit.
I doubt it.
Tripp was the product of a mature couple in a stable marriage. Bristol's kid was the product of two immature and unmarried kids in an unstable relationship. Based on this announcement they haven't grown up much, and the one who will suffer the most is the child.
More than likely Bristol and Levi’s childs hair will darken as he gets older. I had a little tow headed boy who looked just like my brother. Now he’s in his late 30’s and his hair is nearly black and he’s the spittin’ image of his father.
I know. Kind of sounds like another slap at Sarah Palin to me.
“We got engaged two weeks ago,” 19-year-old Bristol Palin told Us Weekly. “It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents.”

It is intimidating and scary just to think about what her reaction is going to be. Hopefully she will jump on board, Bristol told the magazine. I want her to know Levi has grown up and that he is going to be there as a dad.

They may not have told them but it will have to be dealt with by all side so the “Clan of Wasilla”..
Yep. Makes sense.
I don’t know why, but for some reason the words - “..and this week, on a very special Blossom....”, just popped into my head.
a suicide bomber? A singular connotation?
He has used up his 5 minutes of fame and now is looking for his milk and crackers--i.e. his comfort zone. Pretty hard for a Levi Johnson to stay in the media without a Palin.
For Tripp's sake, I wish they could make it work. From the immaturity displayed by both, pardon me for a skeptic
vaudine
I'll take 7mos, 1week.....
You have to consider the source. I just hate it that Bristol and Levi are not going to be able to live like a normal couple. They are going to be held to a higher standard by the right and the left. If they make one little mistake, they are going to be picked apart and judged mercilessly. Its hard enough to be young. I feel so sad for them and I am so glad my life is not held up for the world to see and judge my every mistep. Everytime the media reports anything on these two, everyone is going to say “I knew it! I knew it wouldn’t last!” Divorce is rampant in this country. Every single couple who get married now have a less than 50% chance of staying married. I so hope they make it but if they don’t, they will have hell to pay here in FR.
With these two it must mean another baby on the way.
Yes. She posed sometime after the first Gulf War.
Yikes! Who would want to look at that skank naked?!
Or I meant that naked skank. Sheesh. Need more coffee.
