Hard case to make. Voigt's career peaked in the mid 1970s. At that time, he was thoroughly liberal, making appearances with Jane Fonda to protest the Pinochet regime in Chile. His least real feature film leads were in the mid 1980s. Since then he's been relegated mostly to supporting parts. He didn't really come out as a conservative until the last five years or so.
